SC Audit is a trusted provider of audit and assurance services, built on 40 years of combined experience from partners Niel Schoeman and Simone Coetzee. Niel and Simone also operate their own Accounting and Tax Compliance practices – Schoemans in Tygervalley and Malmesbury and Acredo in Paarl and Centurion. Their individual accounting firms provide an excellent base of services yet maintain independence from SC Audit.

Initially, as smaller firm owners, Niel and Simone faced increasing admin, time and cost challenges of compliance with IRBA regulations, SAICA training office regulations and sourcing quality audit staff. In response, they formed Schoemans Coetzee Inc. in 2022, merging their audit departments into a joint venture (JV). The JV has since operated successfully, leading to the incorporation of Schoeman Coetzee Inc. to house the joint forces permanently, and the JV has since started trading as SC Audit.
